Security officers protecting cast and crew on location: A case study
The client
A UK broadcasting company approached Titan Security Europe for overnight security while filming in two European countries.
The contract
We were contracted to supply licensed security officers in France and Belgium for the duration of the broadcast company’s filming.
We provided the following services:
- The guards were to be in parked cars outside hotels where the cast and crew were staying.
- They were to ensure that no one entered the hotel overnight who was not a guest or member of staff.
- They were to perform crowd control should the location of the hotels leak and lead to crowds flocking towards the hotels and causing issues.
- Cast and crew staying in the hotel were given contact numbers for the guards stationed outside to call for help if an incident occurred or they felt unsafe.
- The guards were expected to keep a log of any notable activity during the night, including incidents, and send a report to the client each morning.
The Outcome
The client was so satisfied with our performance that they extended the contract across the rest of their filming tour. We have since provided the same service in Austria, Macedonia, Hungary, Croatia and Italy. The client also hired us to protect the cast and crew during their transport home.
The job was completed successfully, and we hope to work with this client again on their next venture.
