Close Protection Team in Spain
The Contract
We were recently contracted to supply a team of licensed Close Protection Operatives and a suitable vehicle, with a security-trained driver on standby in case of rapid evacuation.
Protection was provided for 3 C-Suite members (the CEO, CTO & CPMO) of an important organisation deemed potentially at risk. Cover was to be provided while they were visiting and attending an event at the Centre de Convencions de Port Aventura in Tarragona, Spain.
The team was needed to protect the executives across 4 days while they attended the event and other social occasions.
Requirements
On day 1: we supplied 1 CPO from 12:00 to 20:00 and 1 SUV (Soft Skin) with a driver on standby from 12:00 to 20:00 as a rapid evacuation option for the executives in the event of an incident.
For days 2, 3, and 4 of the trip, we provided:
2x CPO 07:00 – 15:00
2x CPO 09:00 – 17:00
1x CPO 16:00 – 24:00
1 SUV and driver on standby from 07:00 to 24:00
The guards were rostered for three overlapping shifts a day, ensuring that there was more than one guard on duty at a time
The CPOs were required to dress casually so as to blend in with the public while providing vigilant protection without attracting attention to the principals.

Outcomes
Feedback from the client was positive. The principals were well taken care of, and the trip went off safely, with any potential security incidents deterred
