Supply Corporate Security Guards for a Global Fintech Company
A leading global fintech and cryptocurrency exchange firm with regional offices across Europe recently engaged us under a long-term contract to provide corporate security for multiple office locations.
This case study outlines the challenges faced, our solutions, and the outcomes to be achieved, while fully anonymising client details to comply with NDA obligations.
Our comprehensive presence in Europe and membership of the international Risk Global Management Security Group ideally placed our company to meet their requirements with professional guards taking up duties in multiple office locations, including:
- Southern Ireland
- The United Kingdom
- Germany
- Switzerland
- Spain
The Problem
- The need for a single entity to provide a cohesive and centrally managed corporate security service across multiple countries and locations.
- An expanding regional presence results in increased vulnerabilities at office entry/exit points, visitor access, and building perimeters.
- These busy corporate environments and the sensitive, confidential information they store create a need for professional visitor and staff entry management, prompt alarm response, and enforcement of ID checks before granting access
- Detailed incident logging and routine inspections are needed to identify potential gaps in compliance and employee security awareness training.
Our Solutions
It was agreed that we supply teams of three security guards in each of the locations (two on duty and one on standby).
The guards are to dress in formal business attire to reflect the corporate environment in which they are working.
On-duty hours for security cover are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the office building and entry/exit points.
- Offer a friendly and helpful yet professional welcome to visitors
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, prioritising the integrity of the building and the safety of employees.
- Enforce security and access protocols, including verifying IDs, to prevent unauthorised access, and manage visitor logs, ensuring that it is always known who is on the premises and why
- Perform routine patrols of internal and external areas to check doors, windows, stairwells, and emergency exits
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of daily activities and observations.
- Provide clear guidance to employees on security and safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Assist in evacuations or other emergency actions when necessary.
Key performance indicators
- Appearance and professionalism
- Attendance and timekeeping
- Comprehensive record-keeping
- Continuity of staffing
