Event Security in Germany
The Assignment
A highly anticipated large-scale exhibition was held in Munich, Germany, in June. The event organisers needed a dedicated security team that could also provide general assistance to the event staff.
They approached Titan Security Europe after hearing about our services from similar event organisers.
What We Did
After talks with the client to ascertain what their concerns were and what they expected of their security, we provided guards to the event to do the following:
- Access control, ensuring that only those with a ticket to the event would enter.
- Crowd control, preventing bottlenecks at specific exhibits and allowing attendees to move freely around the venue
- Assisting exhibition staff when able to do so by engaging with the public in a friendly and helpful way
- Maintaining good communication with staff.
At the request of the client:
- Guards were fluent in both English and German.
- Only male guards were placed on this job.
- Guards were to wear white shirts (white t-shirts allowed in hot weather) and smart black bottoms.
The Outcome
The event ran without incident, and the client was happy with the guards provided. They managed to keep the event secure and kept guests happy. We plan to work with this client again in the future.
