Security for a multi-city international school trip
The assignment
A school was holding a trip in which teenagers were to travel to London, Berlin, Zurich and Paris.
The company involved in planning the trip approached Titan Security Europe to discuss security for the group throughout the trip.
The solution
After discussions with the client, the main concern was for the safety of students overnight. Security was needed to prevent unauthorised outings into the cities and to prevent unauthorised people from accessing the students’ accommodation.
We provided guards in each of the cities to do the following:
- Be on duty overnight to ensure the safety of students within their accommodation.
- Be stationed throughout the entire night on the floors where the students were staying.
- Report to group leaders if any students tried to leave the floor during their curfew hours.
- Ensure nobody other than group leaders was allowed in student areas.
The Outcome
The trip ran safely and smoothly, with all of the original safety concerns addressed. Any students who attempted to sneak out were caught by guards, and the group leaders were informed. No unauthorised persons accessed the student accommodation
Due to the success of the trip, we hope to work with this client on similar contracts in the future.
